It’s World Moscato Day this weekend! (yes it is a real thing and not made up)
So raise your glass and toast one of the oldest varieties of grapes that grows in the world.
World Moscato Day brings together lovers of all things pink, luscious and effervescent under the common goal of enjoyment, and we’re just happy to be able to celebrate it with you.
To bring a little sparkle into your day, we’d like to share how to create your own Moscato Granita at home – so there’s no excuse to not have an amazing World Moscato Day! We tried this whilst at the Innocent Bystander winery in Yarra Valley, Australia in 2019 and it was an eye opener to how versatile this grape is and that we’d been missing out not having had it before!!!
Make your own Moscato Granita
This delicious little treat is refreshing, delicious and super simple to make.
1 bottle of Innocent Bystander Moscato 750ml
1/2 cup sugar syrup
Pour Innocent Bystander Moscato and sugar syrup into a shallow, baking tray or two and place in freezer.
Once frozen, mash it up with a fork or whack it into a blender and give it a quick pulse.
Pour into chilled glasses.
Garnish with strawberries and mint to make your cocktail look like it was made by a pro.
Take a picture and share the love #ibwine.
