France could be seen as the spiritual home of wine, especially fine wine. A world leader, and one that continues to be emanated the world wide especially when it comes to wine, whether it be grape varieties, wine styles, use of oak (especially French) or setting out land i.e. ‘terrior’ including wine laws/appellations.
