This organic estate lies in an iconic Spanish landscape: it was the home of Cervantes’ fictional knight Don Quixote. Moreover, there have been many centuries of the most bitter battles across this land between the invading Moors and indigenous Christians. The plight of a Moorish princess of the time inspired the name ‘Mureda’. She was orphaned in one of the many battles across the region, remained hidden and protected here by a knight. So, the house became known as ‘The House of the Moor’ or ‘La casa de Mureda’. This was in tribute to the brave young girl’s plight in a time of great conflict. Amphorum Rosado Palido Garnacha, Mureda is a youthful and vibrant wine made from 100% Garnacha. This rose is bright and intense with delightful cherry, raspberry and strawberry flavours. Rosé garnacha/grenache wines are very tasty, refreshing and full of aromas of red fruits. As diverse as the varietal, tapas are a beautiful pairing such as bread with tomato or anchovies. In this way, you get the appetizer to be simple but refreshing. Often, cured ham is usually used as an appetizer or food tapa, and rosé wine also goes with it perfectly, since deli meats usually go hand in hand with this wine. That’s why, soft cheeses like Camembert or Brie, or recipes, for example, pasta with cheese or cream sauce, are a wise choice to eat while you take a typology of this wine. In addition, recipes that contain egg, such as scrambled eggs, poached egg, or stuffed hard-boiled eggs. Best crack-on then!

Out of stockAoton is the ancient word for the finest specimen of its kind, something that represents the wines of the winery: fine quality with faith in the authenticity of the Mediterranean and the potential of the varieties. The night harvest, the 8 months with the fine lees, the pure pine resin, the oenologist Sotiris Gkinis, are all what make the rosé Retsina Lola of the Aoton winery special. This unique wine is made according to the classic white wine vinification process, with the addition of a small quantity of pine-resin to the 100% Mandilaria must during fermentation. The power of the fermentation dissolves the resin, leaving behind subtle resinous undertones. A wine with a very delicate taste and aroma, it brings the scent of dried strawberries, raspberries and pine needles. On the palate, flavours of melon and strawberries float over botanical base notes. The wine is perfect with, sardines, spicy sausages, and any olive-oil based dish

The area pertaining to the company includes, the hilly area south-east of Lake Garda and the majority of the vineyards fall within the areas with controlled designation of origin Bardolino, Custoza, Lugana and Bardolino Superiore DOCG. The soils here are of morainic origin, loose and rich in skeleton that give minerality to the wines. 100% Pinot Grigio grown on morainic hills with a clayey and calcareous subsoil. Maturation: 3 months in steel tanks Delicate and fruity with fresh with notes of raspberry. Its taste traits make it perfect in combination with fish dishes, both hot and cold. Between the coast and countryside, Domaine Les Yeuses was built in the 13th century by the Templars at the site of an ancient Roman villa. During the centuries, the buildings housed a hospital, the First Consul of Mèze during the French Revolution, and then a winemaking cellar. The estate gets its name from a forest of evergreen oak trees (yeuses in the local dialect). Today they have nearly disappeared, replaced by a path of olive trees. The vineyard of Domaine Les Yeuses comprises over 80 hectares (197 acres) of limestone-rich moderate hillsides which enjoy a maritime breeze. This unique location suits a wide variety of grapes. The estate has been in the Dardé family for more than 30 years. Jean-Paul and Michel, brothers, share the vineyard and winemaking responsibilities. The winery is continuously recognized for its wide range of varietal wines; indeed, the geography of the vineyard gives the red, white and rosé wines a lively acidity and distinctive profile. The vineyard of 80 hectares (197 acres) with a view of the Mediterranean is located on limestone-clay sandy soil on low hillsides. The Mediterranean climate accompanies the grape year-round while the proximity to the Sea provides cool temperatures at the end of maturation to maintain the fruit that is characteristic of Southern French wines. This wine is made from Grenache and Cinsault fruit grown on clay and limestone soil. They are harvested at a high maturity in order to maintain the aromas. After skin maceration, pneumatic pressing and cold settling, fermentation takes place under a controlled temperature at 15°C. The wine is then aged in tanks during 5 month and prepared for bottling. Pale rosé with purple tints; fruity nose with notes of red fruit, toasted bread and butter; rich and fresh wine in the mouth. Perfect partner for oven roasted Pork with chorizo and mushrooms, stone-baked pizza or spinach & feta cheese triangles

The Nyetimber estate counts three major milestones in its history. Its earliest beginnings saw it named in the Domesday Book in 1086, almost 1,000 years ago, when the peaceful valley of Nitimbreha made its first appearance in recorded history. (It’s believed Nitimbreha refers to a newly timbered house or perhaps a small timber plantation.) The second milestone was the planting of the first vines, almost 900 years later, in 1988, when the holy trinity of sparkling wine grapes – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – found a new home in the lee of the South Downs. And thirdly, Eric Heerema became the Owner and Custodian of Nyetimber in 2006, believing that the estate, with its ideal soil and location, had yet to achieve its full potential. Eric recruited Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs and Winemaker Brad Greatrix, who both shared his vision of crafting the finest English sparkling wines. And since then, Nyetimber wines have gone on to achieve global acclaim, winning international awards and blind-tasting competitions, as well as being recognised by some of the world’s most celebrated wine experts. 45 to 75% Chardonnay 25 to 55% Pinot Noir <5% Pinot Meunier Reserve wine 10-20% Residual Sugar 9 grams This beautiful sunset-pink Multi-Vintage rosé has us dreaming of long, sunny days. Planted in 1972, formerly the most northerly vineyard in the world. Located in a three sided walled garden that has a radiating effect on the vines and raises average temperatures by approximately 1 deg C. The majority of the vines are pruned to guyot single and double depending on the strength of growth of the individual vine. The layout of the vineyard is slightly northerly to suit the layout of the land. The vineyard is tended to entirely by hand. First task is the pressing of the grapes, all of the sparkling wines from the English Wine Project are whole bunched press, they do not crush and destem as although this practice leads to greater yields and potentially more varietal flavour. Following the press, the juice is allowed to stand for 24 hours before being racked off. After racking inoculation takes place with yeast and a MLF bacteria to increase, the yeast is designed to aid the varietal characteristics, whilst the MLF softens the acids from malic to lactic bacteria. The fermentation is a controlled process and the juice/wine is fermented for approximately 3 weeks until dry and the sugar has converted to alcohol. During this period the wine is racked with bentonite only – making it a vegan and gluten free product. Post fining the wine is then filtered and bottled. All movements throughout the wines time in the winery is controlled and movements are kept to a minimum. Appearance – Pastel pink Aroma – wild strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb Taste – wild strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, red apple, Grape variety: Pinot Noir ABV 12 % Good to go with chicken schnitzel, creamy risotto, chocolate desserts, goats cheese on salted crackers or something off the barbi! The Villa Wolf estate (founded as J.L. Wolf) lies in the picturesque village of Wachenheim in the Pfalz region in Germany. It is named after the beautiful Italianate Villa which was built in 1843 in an era of great success for this region. Ernst Loosen, of the Dr. Loosen estate in the Mosel area, took over the winery in 1996. Patrick Moellendorf, who has been at Villa Wolf since 2011, is in charge of the viticulture and winemaking at Villa Wolf, and they have even applied for organic certification for the estate vineyards, which is a process that takes several years to complete and would make 2022 the first official year of organic certification. The concept of making extraordinary wines in the estate vineyards lies in sustainable, organic vineyard practices combined with gentle handling of the fruit and traditional, minimalist winemaking. Their entry level Villa Wolf varietal wines have always been great value in terms of quality, consistency and varietal correctness. Pinot Noir that has undergone a short maceration, followed by a gentle cool fermentation and development in stainless steel tanks. Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé has an excellent balance which is already showcased in the beautiful salmon colour of the wine, not too dark, not too light. Try with feta, spinach, mint and quinoa tartelettes, hummus dip, garlic sausage or potato tortilla! Vegan
