At Quinta da Calçada, they have a philosophy of non-intervention and respect for nature. To this end, they mainly adopt traditional winemaking techniques and seek, where possible, to adapt them to a sustainability strategy.

This Vinho Verde, from the higher & slightly warmer sub-region of Amarante, is crisp and clean. Floral aromas are nicely filled out with honeysuckle & green apple along with expected lemon/lime notes. Nicely balanced palate with great acidity & salinity. Tastes of fresh citrus, Granny Smith apples beautifully blend with honeydew melon and hints of passion fruit with just a note of sweetness. Dry with light body, lively acidity and a lingering finish.
Partners well with a Mediterranean-style fried rice
