Several times a year, we invite different winemakers to host a dinner at a restaurant in the North East. A selection of the winemaker’s wines are matched with food, with the menu designed to bring out the best in each. It’s a wonderful, and rare, opportunity to both meet the winemaker and learn about his (or her) wines, as well as taste a selection of wines all at one sitting (without the expense of buying four or five bottles in order to do so!)
The emphasis is on fun and informality with a healthy helping of information on the side. Think of them as convivial dinner parties with an engaging host and some rather good wines. Feel free to come on your own or make up a party. They are also ideal opportunities for entertaining business clients and colleagues.
